Pin Lock
A strong pin lock is made of carbon steel withstanding strain and pressure. The black electrophoretic paint on it resists corrosion. The 5/8″ diameter and 3-3/4″ span length fit 2-1/2″ and 3″ hitch receiver tubes. Vehiclex pin locks are used with Class III and IV hitches for pulling trailers with gross loads of up to 16,000 pounds.
Tubular Keys
The short tubular keys are designed with a unique key code for each Vehiclex Hitch Receiver Pin Lock. This increases the security level of the lock. Every set comes with 2 keys made of steel.
Lock Head
Rotating 360° lock head with a hexagonal shape is easy to operate—to lock it you just need to push the key slot. It’s made of strong carbon steel with a snap-on rubber cap that protects the key slot from dust, mud and grime.
Rubber O-Rings
5 replacement rubber O-rings are squeezed to plug the gap between hitch and pin lock to prevent rattling noise.

Seemingly good quality I’ve only had this hitch pin for a couple of weeks. I was surprised at how heavy it was compared to other locking hitch pins I’ve had. The supplied o-rings are a nice edition. You can use as many as you need to hold the pin solidly in your receiver. With the barrel key and lock I’m hoping this will be more resistant to corrosion caused from the rain and road chemicals. There is a nice rubber cap to cover the lock end after it is locked on your hitch. I recommend giving it a try if your looking for a locking hitch pin.
Locks up correctly Locks up to the 2.5 to 3 inch Receivers. The rubber washers help to make up the difference along the hitch pin through the receiver.
