   STRONG ….. It is the old adage, you get what you pay for. These are well made, strong ratchet tie downs. The vinyl coated hooks make them easy on a paint job. The straps are also a softer material so I assume it will be the same. The ratchets work very well and dont skip. Heavy duty ratchet tie downs that come in a soft case to keep them from getting lost. 5 stars. i hope this helps in your decision making.

   Seem good quality The “Vehiclex Heavy Duty Ratchet Strap – 1.5″ x 8 ft – (4PK Orange) Tie Down Straps & Soft Loops for Moving & Securing Motorcycle, UTV – Vinyl Coated Deep S-Hook & Extra Safety with Lockable Handle” seem heavy weight and good quality buckles and ratchets. The organizer bag is awesome and these are easy to pick up and “go” with. They seem strong enough for anything I would use them for.

   a very impressive set, great attention to detail. this set it great. from the packaging and carry bag, down to the stitching and even how the straps are put in the bags with the special bands (not your average cheap rubber bands)the ratchets themselves can lock in the closed position or open. preventing them from over tightening when bouncing down the road.the straps are high quality with melted ends, and smooth surfaces.the stitching is very re informed.the soft shackles straps are of the same high quality.there are even very cool velcro bands to secure the loose ends.the bags it comes in is not some cheap bag, but a nice carry bag for these straps.while you are paying for the quality, I’m a little surprised the price isn’t higher.

   Great product. Solves many strap shortcomings. The Vehiclex Heavy Duty Ratchet Straps are the well thought out quality strap with a cool feature I have been looking for.A small but very cool feature of the straps are the soft straps which are made to prevent scratching. These are four short straps that have a loop on each end. One loop has a half twist and there is no metal on them. When you loop the soft strap around your item and through the twisted loop, the twist flattens out. You can now hook one of the metal ratchets to the other end of the soft strap, keeping the metal far away from your motorcycle or what ever item you are strapping down. This can really protect your motorcycle from scratches.The ratchets, hooks and straps are weighty and have a quality feel. The straps are thick and the stitching zigzags. The hooks have a clip that is spring loaded to prevent it from accidentally slipping off.It come with 4 straps, 4 ratchets, 4 soft straps, 4 hook and loop wraps and a quality carry bag.This kit has solved pretty much every issue I have had with a ratchet strap. From scratching, to slipping off, to storage. These are a great product.

   I’m surprised These straps are tougher than I thought and can easily compete with some of the more expensive name brands out there, especially the included loops are a nice touch and come in handy where a hook doesn’t work. I own at least a dozen tie downs in this size category but most are 14′ or even 20′ long, these shorter ones are so much easier to deal with when long straps aren’t needed, like when tying down toolbox handles. A nice bonus is the included storage bag that allows me to roll the straps up and put them back in their place, they even fit back in nice and tidy after several uses where my other straps usually live in a big pile somewhere in the storage compartment.

Right out of the box, you are presented with the two handles of the sturdy high denier cordura zippered bag, inside of which are all the accessories one needs to ensure secure lashing of your heavy duty transportables. Having all of these accessories housed in a single bag unit eases my mind immediately, for when you have to make that move with a heavy piece of equipment, such as your ATV that is just barely fitting into the back of your pick up truck with the tailgate down, or other heavy objects, like a refrigerator that has to make a move down the highway, you really cannot compromise on completely and securely lashing down your load. However, many will compromise with lesser quality substitutes when you are short of sufficient straps, etc.VEHICLEX provides a robust assortment of quality ratchet straps and hook-straps and all the related lashing components to insure your load stays where you want it to stay.    Husband loves them Straps come in a convenient sturdy bag.Straps and handles are quality materials. His favorite part is that the hooks have closures on them. Other brands you have to hold the hook on until you tighten it so it doesn’t fall off. This one he is able to hook on and walk to the other side.Very happy with them!!!!

Very impressed with the quality of these straps!They are nice and wide and the mechanism for the ratchet is smooth with rubberized contact points, all the tie down straps I had before these would always snag, jam up and hurt my fingers trying to mess with them, these are much more user friendly.The heavy duty stitching is on point and there’s no concern of these coming apart. Like someone else had mentioned, these straps are so nice I’m going to be a little bit sad when I eventually get them dirty!My young daughter loved the bonus stickers, nice touch!Extra Velcro straps for keeping them bundled, the zippered carrying case, the spring loaded “S” hook point (security point), and vinyl coating on the hook to prevent damage to your anchor points are all really nice value adds. For $80 these are a steal of a deal !!

    We mostly use these to tie down our four wheeler for back road trips. I’m not good at tying knots, let alone trying to work out the gears and loops on straps like this. But the instructions that come with the ratchets and straps/tie downs are very clear. I appreciate that pictures are included.Now, I’ll admit the actual labour was done by my Dad and brother when using these to tie down the four wheeler onto the wagon we use to haul equipment. But, besides watching the whole process, I can attest to the strength of the straps/tie downs.I waited to do this review after the end of hunting season, which goes right into Fall. The four wheeler is used a LOT during the Fall months, so I wanted to see how these ratchets and straps/tie downs would hold up. And they are durable! In fact, I’ll never get them back from my brother now. He uses them for hauling other equipment.The hardware and mechanisms of these ratchets is SOLID and heavy! And the strap material isn’t thin or flimsy in any way. It’s industrial grade strong. Which means these straps/tie downs do live up to the listing specs.Having a carrying case is a huge bonus. For one thing, my brother and Dad do own other ratchets and straps, and sometimes they can get mixed up with all of the other equipment they both own.When prepping for outings like hunting, which means a lot of equipment needs to be secured, they use every tool they have on hand for the task. It’s nice to be able to organize it all, prior to and especially after the back road trips they take.So, for my family’s needs this set of ratchets and straps/tie downs is a solid 5 stars! And the stickers are a nice touch too. They aren’t just for bumpers. My nephew put one on his laptop cover as well.

    Sturdy Versatile Straps Pros- sturdy construction- the straps are quite long which makes them more versatile. I have a set where the straps are really short which really limits where you can use them- carrying bag. This is great for keeping the set together.- big rubber handles, with rubber coating and finger grooves on the release latch. Makes them easier to use especially in cold weather- clip on the hooks. You don’t need to use them, say if you are hooking it to a cross bar, but it is really handy when looping it to a rope or webbing. I’ve had them slip off on other ones when initially tying things down (before there was tension).- included soft loops come in handy in some tie down situations- reflective silver color gives it visibility- hooks have a thick rubber coating to avoid scratchesCons- they are a lot bigger and heavier than other ones I’ve had. In my one vehicle I store them in the tire well for just-in-case scenarios. But these won’t quite fit- if your tie down is only ever going to be lightweight, these would be a bit overkill for both size and price.- would be nice if there was some sort of band to keep the long straps tidy. If you just throw it in the bag it can become a bit of a tangled mess.Overall it’s a well built versatile set if you’re willing to spend the money for it.

    Complete package I love how this package comes complete for strapping down an entire project. The ratcheting quality is pretty decent, doesn’t lock up on you when you’re trying to ratchet. The finger lock and handle are both rubberized as well so your hand doesn’t hurt at the end of it.The hooks are massage and it comes they all come with a latch that’s easy to open up. Could be stronger depending on your perspective.Amazing quality all around honestly. The straps themselves are thick and very durable as well. I’ve worked in retail and sold some really cheap ratchet straps and these are by far way better than the cheap ones and close to par to the high end ones. I highly recommend, and they come in a nice carrying case as well!

    How can you not like these? I couldn’t be happier with the performance of these straps. They have exceeded my expectations in every way, and here’s why I’m giving them a well-deserved 5-star review. Which says a lot because I rarely give 5-star reviews because there is always room for improvement, right?The ratcheting mechanism is incredibly sturdy and reliable. Once locked in place, these straps hold tight, providing peace of mind that my motorcycle (or whatever needs strapping down) won’t shift or even worse fall over/off. But with a 2,200 lb. breaking strength, your stuff is not going to move. If it does, it’s user error.Despite their heavy-duty nature, these straps are surprisingly easy to use. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth, and the release is effortless. I can’t believe how heavy they are. I got the lime green Tie Downs and I love the color.I can’t find a single fault with the Heavy Duty Ratchet Straps.     Case included!! If there’s one thing that drives me nuts, it’s is disorganization. I like everything to be neat and organized. Especially stuff like this. I am so annoyed when my husband uses the rachet straps and just balls it up and tosses it where ever, after he’s done with them. I wrap them up neatly and put them in the tool bin. And it never fails, he can’t seem to keep in neat and organized. I love that this includes a case, it may be the neatest inside, but maybe the straps will make their way back in it. Lol. The quality is nice and the price is reasonable. These are fairly heavy-duty and the mechanism is easy to use, as well as hold well. I think we’re both pretty satisfied with this set. Recommend!

    Very strong straps with innovative improvements. I picked this strap set to replace my older and frayed straps that still work well but it is only a matter of time before one of them breaks. I mostly use this type of ratcheting straps to hold my 4-wheeler on a trailer when I head for the hills. These straps and accessories are strong and tightly- sewn with an excellent storage bag to keep everything clean when not in use. The ratchets work smoothly and lock the straps down tight for a secure and safe load- running down the highway. Great product for the safety and security gear collection. Great find!

    Beefy tie-down kit. This kit of 4 tie-down ratchets straps is well constructed.Compared to the motorcycle tie-down straps I already owned (green in photos), these are wider and the straps are longer. The ratchet mechanisms are also much larger and made of thicker stamped sheet metal.The strap material is softer and the weave does not appear quite as tight (the green is stiffer), but I’m confident that these will do the job.The stitching is tripled compared my first straps, another point in this Kit’s favour.The hooks are significantly thicker and have spring-loaded clips to help ensure there’s no accidental release.I like that the straps come in a zippered bag, not only to keep the straps together when not in use but also to protect them from damage (friction, chemicals, solar degradation).Instructions are included, as are some stickers (yay, stickers! LOL).Overall, a good product which will do the job it is designed for. Five stars.

    Stong and easy to use I have a pickup truck, so I ordered this kit of rachet straps to secure cargo in the truck bed or on the trailer. It came very nicely packed in a travel bag that keeps everything in one place for easy access. The kit comes with a total of 4 ratcheting straps that each are 1.5 inches wide and 8 feet long. The straps have a 4400-pound break strength which will cover a variety of cargo securing needs. It also included 4 velcro strips which would be used to secure any of the excess strap that you may have. I also liked that you have 4 color options. My truck has hints of orange so that is the color I got.

    Bright color, thick straps and a carrying bag. I haven’t actually used them to tie down anything but I did put one together and the rachet and rachet handle were great. The handle is larger than most.The straps seem to be thicker than the others I have but can’t be positive.The bag is pretty nice as well but looking at it and me throwing it around in the truck I think it could of used more stiching but hey for the price the bag is just a bonus with how well the rachet works.

    Great for use with my motorcycle and trailer This is a quality set of straps. They are well-made and heavy-duty. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference. For me, the spring-loaded clips on the s-hooks are a great feature. With my old straps, I had to use duct tape to ensure the hooks stayed attached. These clips work very well. Another detail that may seem trivial but that I like is the included storage bag. It’s well-designed and stores the straps perfectly. Highly recommend.

    Nice ratchet straps I needed a new set of ratchet straps and these seem to fit the bill nicely. You get four straps with a convenient little toolbox to carry them in so they’re not rolling around in your truck toolbox. The straps are not your average narrow 1″ wide, they are very well made, 1.5″ wide and 8 ft long so you get a nice purchase and a very strong hold when using them, so they’re very versatile. The bright color is nice and easy to see from in the cab of the truck, so it’s easy to see if any of the straps have moved after putting them on. Even if you did happen to say “Well that’s not going anywhere” , sometimes things happen.

    Extremely durable and strong What a great kit. I so appreciate the case they come in. The straps I had been keeping in the back of my pickup needed to be kept in a plastic basket to keep things somewhat organized, but somehow, they always ended up getting twisted and required time to unwind and organize before they could be used.The case itself is well made and, by the looks of it, should be able to survive in the pickup box for years.► The straps, hook, straps, and buckles are very well made. These are not cheap dollar-store items.► Having the straps wider than the average ones I got from the bricks and mortar stores means they are not easy to twist. This means that when using the ratchet, the process is much smoother.► Where the straps are folded over and sewn, the stitching is heavy-duty. These will tolerate a lot of tension before they even strain, never mind let go. In fact, as well-made and as durable as these are, I’m pretty sure they could be used when towing a vehicle out of a ditch!► The Velcro strips for tying down the excess straps are a nice touch, but they will collect dust and crud, so they won’t stay cinched up.All of the above means that this is not a lightweight set of straps. These things weigh a lot, easily 10 pounds or more.This is an excellent option for rugged and durable tie straps. I can’t find anything negative to say about them, but I do wish they were another two feet longer.

    Ideal Tie Downs Tie down straps have become so common that their design has been unchanged for quite a number of years. These tie downs challenge that norm with carabiner like clips on each hook to provide secure attachment to any eye or location. This prevents the hooks from becoming disconnected when tightening the straps (very annoying). The ratchets are also coated in a rubber material to prevent injury to your fingers when tightening. The set also includes soft straps for each strap which aid in tying down a variety of toys including dirt bikes, street bikes, quads, snowmobiles etc. The set also comes in a very handy storage bag to protect the ratchets from corrosion and also provide a secure storage location so nothing becomes separated.Overall I have been very impressed with the ratchet straps and the improvements made! The stickers that were included are also very cute!! The bag provided keeps everything together making it easy to store in your vehicle!

    Great compact case First off the case itself is so much better and easier to keep neat than the drawstring bags these usually come in.The straps themselves seem fairly sturdy. Nice stitching, about as thick as a couple other sets of mine from big box store dog brands. The soft loop straps are a nice addition as it’s always good to have options. The hooks are sturdy and coated nicely in rubber. The spring lock does it’s job well and holds things together while you set the strap in place. The handles on the ratchet are larger than most and also coated nicely for comfort.I did end up using these for fairly light duty work (rolled up carpet as well as a twin mattress) but they performed as well as either of my other sets and leave me fairly confident in trusting them for heavier duty projects (upcoming cast iron table saw move).

    Excellent super heavy duty straps Wow. These are very heavy duty and more than what’s needed to strap down a motorcycle securely. The 8′ lengths are perfect for me. I’m tired of dealing with 10’+ straps you have to tie down. The S hook clip is a great touch and it comes with the storage bag, which is a good thing because these are a bit heavy and I don’t want the ratchet bouncing around in a trunk or back seat. I recommend!

    Great set of ratchet straps Nice set of easy to use straps with a sturdy fabric carrying case. This is a great kit to throw in the truck when you need to strap something down safely.The handles on the ratchet are very comfortable to use in comparison to others I’ve used in the past.

    Such a nice kit almost going to feel bad getting it dirty. I’m surprised at the wow factor of this kit. The workmanship is perfect on every piece. The weather proofing is in the design, and they don’t just blast the metal with some oily covering. The stitching is perfect, not a loose thread on any of the pieces. A tie down strap is not a piece of fancy clothing, and appearance is not even really required but when a company puts out a product this good, it deserves mentioning.Pros:• Substantially better quality that my last set for a little bump in price. Completely worth the difference.• A ton of little detail items in this set that make it stand out from your average automotive store set.• Comes with tie down leg straps and slings, which allows a lot more possibility of how to connect these.• Nice storage unit.• Love the green high visibility option.Cons:• The release is a bit tight to pull the material back through are disassembly time.I highly recommend these, if you get them on sale, great, but even at full price these are worth it.

    More than sufficient! I didn’t realize how heavy-duty these were until they arrived.I wanted something to secure my commercial mower and these can definitely handle that.They are very strong, well made, durable ratchet straps.     These are nice set of tie down straps. These are the perfect to tie down the quads on the trailer. These are heavy duty, durable and sturdy. Easy to use and holds the load. The ratchet works great. Has a nice s hook. The bonus is the bag. It’s so nice to have them in a storage bag, easy to put away and find. I would buy again.

    Really great straps! I’m impressed with these ratchet straps, there’s absolutely worth it. Everything about them is built strong and smart. The hooks have a clip to keep things secure, the release mechanism has a nice plastic cover that’s comfortable to pull. Awesome!

    Great heavy duty ratchet straps! Many days, I load the bed of my truck with junk to transport it to the landfill and need to secure the load. These work great for that purpose by using them with the eyelets built into the bed of my truck. While these straps are overkill for this “landfill run” purpose lol, I’m sure they will be of use for more heavy duty applications as they come up in the future. They are very well made, and I love that a carrying / storage case was included. With that being said, these earn my recommendation and five star blessing lol!
