UNIVERSAL AND SIMPLE TO USE
An essential tool kit is for different types of tubeless tires – motorcycle, car, SUV, bike, and lawnmower tires. The kit has everything you may need to fix the punctures, to replace the valve, to check the pressure with a gauge. Obvious photo instructions simplify the repair process and you don’t need to waste time for roadside assistance.
PLUG STRINGS
The tire plug strings are made of butyl rubber and will quickly and tightly seal the punctures. The plug fills the hole and the rubber vulcanizes under the heat while you drive. The repair can be made easily and does not require the tire to be taken off the vehicle.
QUALITY TOOLS
We use hard steel T-tools which are robust and rust-resistant. Be sure to twist a reamer a few times to prepare the tire for the plug.
TIRE PRESSURE GAUGE
A pocket-size tire gauge provides instant pressure reading. Easy to use double-sided indicator bar displays pressure up to 50 PSI.

A nice little kit I worked in a tire shop just out of high school in the late 1900’s, and have been fixing my tires for many years since. This is a nice little kit assuming it holds up.I like that it comes in a case so that everything can be kept together.I also like that the handles are metal. I saw many many others that had a set screw to tighten the tools into the handles where this one is threaded and has a nut that you tighten.I’d probably prefer they just be made to where they can’t come apart. I’ve never broken one, but I do have one of the plug tools that are a little bent, so I suppose it’s possible to need to replace it.Get the kit with the pliers. Pliers are a must have if you have a nail or screw in your tire that you need to pull out.I thought these pliers were going to be way too big and cheap, but they’re actually about perfect for just this task. Anyway, unless you already have tons of needle nose pliers that you could dedicate to a pair to this kit, you’ll want to just go ahead and pay the extra couple bucks and get it.For the plugs, they aren’t the best. I prefer the brownish orange plugs but when you have an emergency either will do.The valve core tool and spare valve cores is a nice addition. While not necessary to remove, It’ll help speed up airing up your tire. Plus, sometimes your leak is actually in the valve core so having the tool and spares could come in very handy if that’s where your problem is. So if you ever can’t find a nail or anything in your tire and aren’t sure where the leak is, don’t forget to check the valve stem.Overall a very nice kit to keep in the trunk or glove box but don’t forget, you also need to purchase a portable air compressor as well.

Peace of mind Its one of those things you want to carry on your motorcycle just in case. Not had to use it yet but construction looks very robust. Has everything you would expect and comes in a simple case to keep everything together. Delivery was superb as I needed for a ride next day.

Really nice kit. Super nice plug kit.Seems well made, hope I don’t have to use but it’s nice to have.

Great tools Very solid tools much better than the kind secured by set screws.

Nice metal tool I really like to tool, but the bag is already ripping after just taking to tool out of the bag. I like that the handles are metal and that it comes with multiple size insertion tool ends. It is a complete kit with everything needed to fix a tire.

Brilliant! I drive for Rideshare and have had quite a few incidents where I needed to plug a tire and now with this in my trunk I feel more confident than ever because the quality is very high and the kit is complete. The tools are made of steel and I’m confident they won’t break. The first time that I needed to use this kit I actually wasn’t able to because there was an issue with the rubber strips that came in this kit. Basically the are rubber strips sandwiched between two pieces of plastic and I was unable to remove those plastic pieces even while using two pair of pliers.I bought a refill kit of rubber strips and added it to my kit.I definitely recommend purchasing this kit as it is the nicest one I’ve seen as well as affordable and it’s just great to have in the car.

Must Have For Emergency Repairs If you operate a motor vehicle you need one of these kits for emergency roadside tire repairs. However, tires are not repairable in the following cases.- Sidewall damage- Punctures larger than 1/4″- Punctures that are less than 1/2″ from the outermost threads (too close to sidewall)Otherwise, this kit provides almost everything you would need to repair a punctured tire quickly and easily. There are several YouTube videos demonstrating the process better than I can summarize in this review. Just note that the included tire plugs are self-vulcanizing, so there is no need to apply vulcanizing cement/compound prior to insertion. The plugs will chemically bond to the tire over time to reinforce the seal. There is a more complete version of this kit from VehicleX that includes pliers for removing objects from the tire, which costs just $2 more.Be aware that plugged repairs are meant to be temporary and this method will prevent tire shops from subsequently performing a permanent NHTSA approved plug patch repair. This means that the tire should ideally be replaced at the earliest once this emergency repair method has been used. Why use this kit if it results in tire replacement? It will get you going in a situation where it might be unsafe or impractical to dismount the tire on the roadside or if help is not readily available. Keep in mind that you will also need a decent inflator to pressurize the tire after it is sealed. The pressure gauge, valve cores, valve tool, and cutting tool were useful additions to this kit.

Vehiclex Tire Plug Kit This tire plug kit is fantastic. It arrives with the kit, a thank you card, a sticker, and an instruction/warnings sheet. The kit includes everything they show in the listing pictures and it works great! The instructions tell you exactly how to go about using the kit but basically it works by using the tools to clean the punctured hole, push the repair plug into it but leave a length of it still visible, and then remove the tool while leaving the plug in place. Then you are supposed to trim off the pieces that are sticking out of the hole. The plug works very well and can remain useful for quite a long time but I personally don’t feel great about keeping a repair in a tire. But this is the perfect thing to bridge the gap of time between getting a flat tire, getting a new tire, and having it mounted.Overall, fantastic repair kit that lasts quite a while in the punctured tire but it is recommended to have your tire replaced instead of continuing to use the repaired tire for a very long time.

Must Have on the trails I feel this is a must have tool kit for anyone riding ATVs or dirt bikes on the trail. At some point everyone will run over something that could puncture the tire. If you’re in the middle of nowhere, this could be a difficult scenario, but having this kit, it’s definitely a solution to that problem. I attached a video showing the contents of the kit and a quick breakdown of how it works. They make it very simple and it’s easy to use and quite effective temporarily filling the gap and stopping the leak. I also recommend carrying a portable air pump to refill the tire. The tools themselves feel like they are heavy duty and well built and well designed. The two main tools have large handles, allowing you to re-puncture the tire and clear a spot to insert the plug. It’s simple but effective and this kid has everything you need in my opinion is absolutely necessary.

Can’t Go Wrong with This For the price you are paying for this, it is one of the most useful kits to have with you in the car, ATV, or motorcycle. The quality is sturdy, and well made. It also looks really cool, especially with the case they give you.In the case, you have all the tools nicely organized. And for those who need instructions, they included a short manual.Truly a great buy at this price!

Nice Kit, Solid Aluminum Tools are Nice I’m impressed with this tire repair kit by Vehiclex. Everything you need is here to get you back on the road except for one thing. You still need an air source if the tire is too low or completely flat. I generally use these kits in my shop at home. I’ll find a nail and wait until I’m back home before I pull it and repair the tire. This kit is far better than one I picked up at my local store. The tools are aluminum handles with steel shanks for the reader and the plug tool. 10 plugs are a good start. There’s an extra plug to shank if you were to break it.

Nice quality tire repair kit This tire repair kit is by far one of the best quality and most complete kits I have seen, I absolutely love the handles on both the plug insertion tool and the reamer tool, normally these handles are made out of plastic, but these handles are made of metal alloy and they have a great gripping texture to them, both tools also feel very well made and durable, I also like that this kit includes pretty much everything you need to repair a tire, the kit includes 10 plugs, 3 replacement valve stems, a valve stem removal tool, a pressure gauge, a razor knife and 1 replacement insertion tool rod, another thing I like is that the plugs in this kit are slightly thicker & wider versus other plugs I have used, so the plugs do take a little force to get them in the puncture hole, but once they’re in the stay in and plug hole great, overall in my opinion this is a pretty impressive tire repair kit that’s well worth the price.

Handy set I keep one of these kits in all my vehicles. Never know when you may need them. I also keep an inflator in my vehicles. The tools feel nice and sturdy. Plus an extra end. Comes with extra valve cores and a core tool. Only thing missing is a small tube of rubber cement for lube and sealing

Heavy duty kit. Great off roading accessory. These is a nice plug kit with heavier duty tools than other kits I’ve had. The reamer and insertion tools have nice, big anodized aluminum handles for good purchase. The kit comes in a decent case with self bonding plugs, valve stem wrench, utility knife, and some extra Schrader stems. This will replace the flimsier kit I have in my 4X4 and provide some additional comfort when I’m roaming the back country with only one spare tire.

After working with a landscaper friend I found these kits really useful to have on hand! Got a nail in your tire? This is what you need! Remove the nail with pliers. Use that reamer T handle tool on the right to clean out the hole (pic 1), then add a plug (hopefully they have sealant on them already -like other basic kits that add sealant cement to the plug) fold the plug in half. Using tool to punch it in, pull the tool out leaving the plug. Cut off excess plug. These plugs are good temporary fixes to get you to a shop so they can pull the tire and seal it from the inside with a patch. Having these plugs and a small compressor will help you be prepared and get you back on the road quick. Good deal. Giving this a five star rating. Thank you! -Mike

cheap insurance At $15 this tire repair kit is cheap enough to keep in every vehicle. I have not used it (yet) but it looks well made. I like that the handles are aluminum instead of plastic. The sticky plugs and other items seem to be identical to every other kit. The storage case does a good job keeping everything organized.

Good plug kit Good plug kit for the price. Are there better, yes but the price point was good and the kit is compact in size. I mainly ordered this kit for the size as it will live in a Prius Prime where the small size is important. I do have a larger, more robust kit, but that’s in my truck where space is not such a premium. The kit is not my first choice if size wasn’t an issue, but it will definitely do the job. Comes with everything the larger kits do, just not as organized.

Almost everything you need This is a nice kit with most of the tools you need to do an emergency, temporary fix on a punctured tire. Robust aluminum handles on the reaming and insertion tools, along with additional tools to finish up the patch work. You will have to supply your own pair of pliers to remove whatever caused the puncture, and an air compressor to refill the tire.

Great plug kit My husband is a mechanic and uses plugs all day for those who unfortunately end up with leaks in their tires. I ordered this kit and was not disappointed. He says this is a high quality plug kit that comes with everything needed to plug a tire. He enjoys the case that it comes in because it makes it easy to transport and keep organized. The plugs themselves do as they should and keep air in as well as it is easy to use given the tools provided.

Everyone needs these! Tire fixed faster than AAA can arrive

Love it! What I love about this kit is its compact size and sturdy construction. The aluminum-handled tools are durable and easy to grip, making tire repairs a breeze even in challenging conditions. Plus, the plugs come neatly packaged in a sturdy zippered bag, keeping everything organized and easily accessible when needed.I recently had a nail puncture on my tire while I was on a road trip, and this kit saved the day. With just a few simple steps, I was able to plug the hole and get back on the road in no time. The peace of mind I had knowing that I had a reliable tire repair solution on hand was priceless.Whether you’re a seasoned mechanic or just someone who wants to be prepared for the unexpected, I highly recommend adding the Vehiclex Tire Plug Kit to your emergency roadside kit. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did when you find yourself faced with a flat tire miles away from the nearest repair shop.

Handy Haven’t had to use this yet but it is nice to know I have it if I need it

Nice kit I keep this kit in my truck for an emergency. I like the size of the handles and how easy they are to grip. I used a plug on an old 35 12ply tire I had and it went in easy without leaving my hands sore. First one in sealed no problems. Comes with everything you need in a small hard shell case.
Up North –
Great to have in the truck I hope I never have to use these, but they’ll sure come in handy in an emergency. The case keeps everything together and protected so it’ll be ready to use.

Cheap insurance! I drive out of town every week and I always worry about getting a flat on the road. This kid is really nicely made and has a nice carrying case. If used correctly these can get you back on the road until you can get to a tire shop. I do recommend that you get a portable air pump. I have a kind that connects to my battery to power it but there are some that connect to a cigarette lighter. I’ve used one of these before and they really work good.

A must have This is a very well made ready to use tire patch kit great for your garage or to keep in your car for on the go cause you just never know!

Great kit to keep in the Jeep. It’s aluminum so it won’t bend/break on hard tires I keep this in my Jeep Wrangler. Never know when I’m Offroad and will run over a nail or something. These are great to keep if you go offroad. They don’t take up much room and are super handy.Offroad tires are hard, these are made of aluminum so they won’t bend or break like the plastic ones. This kit comes with everything you need to patch a tire. The aluminum means a lot to me. I’ve tried plastic ones before and they are horrible. This is light years ahead of others I’ve usedI have no complaints and would buy this again

Boring and insert tools are large and heavy duty – with metal handles. Also includes a few extras – valve stem removing tool and extra (standard size) valve stems, tire pressure gauge, and cutting blade. All packed in zippered canvas storage pouch for easy storage in trunk, glove box, or RV.

Very nice kit It’s a little bigger than a wallet. It’s a great kit to have in your vehicle, in case of emergencies, like flat tires. Live the bag it comes in.

Top Notch And Quality! I think the powdercoated look along with the weight of both handles of the main tools give you a real feel of quality! And for $15 you sense you got a real deal. One of the tools w/ the red handle roughs up the hole after you pull out the object causing the tire leak.So after roughing it up in and out a number of times, you hopefully have the other tool in which you threaded the tire patch material through ready for quick action. If you have everything ready to go, you can pull out the offending object, insert cleaning and roughing up tool and then insert the other tool holding the patch in very quick order keeping you from really draining the air in your tire. They also give you a very nice amount of strips designed to stop the leaks. You also get a tire guage, kinda cheap (a pocket guage) but it probably works ok.You then get a clear packet of extra tire nozzle valves in case you have a leaky one. You get a tool to extract or tighted existing valve. Finally, they give you a nice black outlined in red case with a zipper to close it up to store everything in a nice handy enclosure. It doesn’t take up much space so you could throw it in your trunk along with your battery operated tire pump and you could handle almost any roadside tire leak.I really am glad I got this and even though I haven’t had a real tire leak in years, if or when I do I have it covered. Love this little kit!!

Perfect to Have for the Inevitable Screw in Your Tire This is a great little kit to have in your car in case you come out to find a flat with a screw in the tread. Calling a tow truck for something like that is both time consuming and expensive. This will get you going in a few minutes. Keep in mind you need to have a tire inflator as well, or else you won’t be able to go anywhere after you patch the hole. It has everything you need to get the job done and the tools seem like good quality. There is a little extra space in the case so I think I will make it even better and add a pair of pliers (to wrestle the screw out), a pair of gloves (to keep your hands clean), and a packet of rubber cement (for insurance). Otherwise it’s perfect. I highly recommend this to have just in case.
