Pin Lock
Strong pin lock is made of carbon steel withstanding strain and pressure. The black electrophoretic paint on it resist corrosion. The 5/8″ diameter and 3-1/8″ span length fit 2″ hitch receiver tubes. Vehiclex pin locks are used with Class III and IV hitches for pulling trailers with gross loads of up to 14,000 pounds.
Tubular Keys
The short tubular keys are designed with a unique key code for each Vehiclex Hitch Receiver Pin Lock. This increases the security level of the lock. Every set comes with 2 keys made of steel.
Lock Head
Rotating 360° lock head with a hexagonal shape is easy to operate—to lock it you just need to push the key slot. It’s made of strong carbon steel with a snap-on rubber cap that protects the key slot from dust, mud and grime.
Rubber O-Rings
5 replacement rubber O-rings are squeezed to plug the gap between hitch and pin lock to prevent rattling noise.

After spending $100 on my ball and hitch it gets locked away when not in use. But sitting at the boat ramp with an empty trailer makes it too easy for shenanigans. This pin lock gives me peace of mind. It's heavy-duty and fits great. This is a great value all-around.

I used to mount my bike rack using the bolt that came with it. It took way too long, required 2 wrenches or a socket and wrench, and was a pain in the can.This hitch receiver pin lock goes on in seconds. It fits well, is secure and is easy to install. The rubber washers keep the fit tight so it won't rattle. I should have bought one of these long ago.

Very rugged high quality locking hitch pin - Great value for the money
This is a great addition to my "hitch accessory" toolbox. I have been using these receiver hitch pins for years and this is by far the nicest one I have. First, it is coated black and the finish seems very durable so I expect the finish will keep this pin corrosion free for quite some time. I like the design such that if needed you could get a wrench on this, and that it comes with the 'O' rings to keep the pin from rattling and moving around too much. Compared to similar 'rugged' hitch pines available this one seems very well priced. I very much recommend this Hitch Pin.

Heavy duty hitch pinThis hitch pin is well-made with a lot of features, including the paint finish, the hexagonal ends, and the push-button locking mechanism. It includes rubber grommets on the pin to adjust to your individual hitch, so it doesn’t slide back and forth. I would recommend this product.

optional sizingWith a lock like this I am able to leave my hitch ball attached to my truck without fear of someone stealing it. A nice touch was the O-rings that are included for the purpose of using this pin on receivers that are less than full width. The cover for the key slot should also keep dirt out of the lock.

Nice Heavy Duty LockThis lock is much better than the one it replaces. The lock uses cylindrical keys, which is nice, and pops on securely, and the cap keeps dust and rain out. The anti-rattle o rings are a nice touch, although the rattle from the pin isn’t noticeable from inside the truck. I don’t know what “electrophoretic” paint is, but I did manage to scratch it when cutting the zip tie that held the keys on the pin for shipping. I don’t think that’ll be an issue, since I expect it to get scratched even more from normal use. It’s a good, solid pin with a good solid lock on it, so it should protect my overpriced weight distribution hitch from your average trailer hitch thief.

Perfect fit, and a great designThis tow hitch lock fits perfectly into the hole, but more than that, it doesn’t rattle around. It comes with heavy rubber washers to hold it in place and not rattle. I love the fact that the keyhole has a cover so it doesn’t end up loaded with grit, mud or water, which would damage the lock. It also comes with two keys for when one gets misplaced, as it inevitably will. It is very heavy duty, and while it might be possible for someone to cut through it with the right tools and enough time, it seems really unlikely. The price was a bargain for the product. It’s compact, easy to store, simple to install and operate. A really nice product!

One of the best receiver locks I’ve seen.I especially liked the engineering that went into weather proofing this product. One of the biggest problems with these locks for me has been that due to weather and oxidation they have a tendency to corrode and have to be cut off. This one has an O ring that keeps water from entering from the shaft and a rubber cap to keep it out of the lock. The finish is quality and corrosion resistant. Also, I like that it is not round. You can sit it on the bumper or trailer frame and it will not roll off. This product at any price is a win.

Great purchase!I love the sturdiness of this hitch bolt. The locking system seems to be well made. What is also nice is the anti-rattle o-rings that put a slight pressure on the pin when it is locked. And locking is easy. When it is unlocked the key button pops out and you simply remove the key. To lock, you slide the lock on, press the button until it engages. This all puts that pressure on the o-rings. Then there is the attached cap that protects the lock internals from contaminants. Love it.

Piece of Mind With Extra SecurityWe have a couple of trailers we pull behind our vehicles. They all use a 2 inch receiver and a 5/8 inch pin that secures the receiver in the 2 inch ID hitch on the vehicle. The pin is nomally straight with a small bend on one end and a compression pin slid into a hole so the pin won’t fall out. If I use my utility trailer for some short runs, that is all you would need. But, when I pull our camper or boat, I want more security so someone doesn’t mess with or steal the trailer. Yes, I use a padlock on the ball mount of the trailer, but most vehicles have the 2 inch hitch mount installed and all they would need to do is pull the spring pin out and they have the whole receiver ready to slide into there own hitch mount and off they go.This Hitch Pin Lock is a high quality, very solid and secure 2 inch lock pin. It uses the circular style key that is harder to pick open. The lock is capable to use on 2 inch up to 2-1/2 inch receivers. It comes with rubber “O” rings to fill the distance if you are using it on a 2 inch receiver. The locking mechanism is a spring loaded steel button that pops out when you unlock. You can then remove the ket and when you put the pin back in, you just have to push the steel button till it locks and you are done. The key/button end of the pin has a flexible rubber cap to protect the lock from dust and water while in use. It’s simple to use , but does come with an instruction sheet. Piece of Mind!!

Hitches are expensive…Trailer hitches are expensive and this ensures that your investment won’t walk off to someone else’s truck. It’s a shame we need these, but if you have a trailer hitch or a bike rack or something similar, make sure it doesn’t sprout legs and walk off..

Looks cool on my hitchI have a hitch on my little car and sure it looks out of place but this gives that little chrome knob a bit of credibility. I towed a trailer a thousand miles in one day (remember the winter storm in September 2021? Houston to Colorado in a single shot) and wished I could have had more peace of mind than the R-clip on the bent-pin provided.Now I have that peace of mind. I keep one key in the trunk, and the second on my spare keychain. The lock is easy to operate and the cover keeps it clean. I put a bit of clear silicone grease just to protect it from humidity and water, because in my situation the cover might get scrapped off from carelessness.The entire thing is enameled, but just using a pair of scissors to cut the zip tie holding the keys in place was enough to chip that enamel, so don’t count on it to protect the pin once you’re actually hauling anything.

PerfectHaven’t had any issues with it and keeps people from stealing ball hitch. Luckily haven’t had that happen yet. This will definitely help prevent that from ever occuring. Fit perfect. Comes with two keys. It’s a very thick heavy duty metal. One thing I will say is for a 2003 Toyota Sequoia the plug kind of gets in the way of where the key is at for this. I had to flip it around the other way. But still works fine. Happy. Good value.

Heavy duty!Heavy duty! I have a pretty expensive adjustable hitch on the back of my truck and this thing let me know that someone can’t just walk away with it unless they do some heavy duty cutting. It’s made of quality material and I think it should last a long time. Very pleased with it.

Heavy-duty Hitch LockI live everything about this hitch lock. It is heavy duty and very sturdy. It has spacer rings to ensure a tight fit. It comes with 5 individual spacer rings that can be added to removed on the size of your receiver or hitch attachment. For example, I left 4 of the spacer rings on removing 1 of them and had a perfect fit, like a glove. The key is sturdy, some locks I have seen and owned in the past have flimsy keys that bend slightly when. Trying to lock or unlock it, and I was scared that the key would break and have had a key to break off in the lock. With this hitch lock the keys are just as heavy duty and sturdy as the lock itself.
