Description

Vehiclex hitch tightener is strong enough to eliminate wobble, rattle, noise, and hitch movement for cargo carriers, bike racks, hitch receivers, trailer ball mounts, etc. All components are made of carbon structural steel, which is usually used in construction and engineering welded structures, and also as mechanical fasteners. The diameter of Vehiclex steel U-bolt is 0.44″ (0.51″ with coating). And the width of the plate is 0.31″. We use more massive construction than other brands to ensure your confidence on the road. The rubber coating on the U-bolt and powder coating on the tightener plate reduce the risk of scratches and chipping, which resist corrosion in any weather. The anti-rattle stabilizer is compatible with 1 1/4″ and 2″ receivers.

I have a bike rack that I can usually hand tighten into my van hitch but it rattles and bounces up and down while driving as it's not a perfectly tight fit into the hitch opening.The hitch tightener was easy to use/assemble and made the excess/loose movement all but disappear.As the video shows what it was like before I had installed it and after you can see there is a major difference and this could be a great benefit with towing a trailer as well.

Just enough clearance to install upside down for my hitch skid. The tightener arrived in great condition.Super easy to install. Tightened down the hitch skid step and eliminated all the play.Bonus, the rubber coating matches the red rubber on the other hardware.Overall, great quality and I wouldn't change a thing.

    This is a easy install and a solution to that rattling hitch. Makes for a quieter ride. Cheap solution to a annoying issue.
