I like this design! This is a new design to me I thought I would try out. The axle wrap is built or sewn into the primary strap instead of having stand along wraps that you would normally see. I did apply them to my wheeler and they do fit the same and were easy to install. I want to make sure these work well after a few rides, if I do see any issues I will downgrade my stars, but I do not anticipate any problems as this company does offer a three year warranty to back up their product. The stitching does look good and strong. The Buckles and hardware all look heavy duty for the purpose. The entire set does come in a really nice heavy bag for transport as well. Last note are the stickers they put in with the package. Very nice in my case as my daughter raises highland cattle and has a red Jeep, and her husband rides a Harley. How fitting was that. Too funny.

Room for improvement I am always on the lookout for different ways to secure my old Jeep for transport and these straps caught my eye. I have used the standard 2” straps with axel straps for many years without issue. These are unique in that they combine the two. You wouldn’t be limited to just wrapping these around the axels of a vehicle either as they could be threaded through wheels or even wrapped around a bumper.Quality: I found the quality of here straps to be pretty decent. The strap material is very flexible with a soft texture that doesn’t seem to stretch. The protective cover ring that comes in contact with the load provides that added layer of protection and can be moved up or down the strap as needed. The ratchet assemblies work well but the plastic on the handles is a little on the cheap side (see photo). My biggest concern with these straps is the stitching – I took a couple of photos. The stitching is not up to the standards one would expect for a safety device such as these.Functionality: These straps are designed for a very specific purpose, but would also work as regular straps in needed. I like that the hooks have a spring loaded safety clasp that seems to work well. The ratchet assemblies are a little smaller that most of my other straps, but seem to work well.Recommendation: I went back and forth trying to decide between three and four stars, and ended up offering four stars. These straps have some nice features, but in the end, the quality just isn’t there. I will use these as a backup to my existing straps. For the price, I could see purchasing these for occasional use, but I don’t believe they would hold up to regular use.

Heavy duty and functional. I like the.axle loops for holding down. My RZR. These are durable and look like they will not break after one season of hauling.

seems like really good quality The strap material seems nice and solid, all the stitching looks good and the hardware from the clips to the ratchets seemed perfect. The ratchets operated smooth functioned as expected, I have had some that just won’t release properly and these worked great. I really liked the clip on loop for the axles instead of just having the ring you have to run the strap through which in a decent number of cases will save time. As shown each one has a protective sleeve on the strap to help protect it from premature wear. And it all came in a decent zippered case. The price seems reasonable for this set based on what you get and initial appearances.

Heavy Duty These straps are extremely heavy duty and potentially way more than I’ll ever need but at least I have them if I need them. I like that they come with a case too.

Could these be the Cadillac of Ratchet Straps? Well I can’t tell you for certain – but I CAN tell you that these are some of the nicest ratchet straps I have seen!So generally, they are ratchet straps and like mouse traps, you can’t really build a better one, but you can add in some really nice extras. From a user stand point, the clips on the hooks are very nice! My trailers are set up with either 360 rings or D-Rings that go into the stake pockets. The hooks essentially make these “set and forget”.Additionally, they include velcro straps which can be used to secure excess webbing. Sloppy straps are a pet peeve of mine and while I don’t know how well these will work in the long terms as my experience is these velcro straps tend to get stuck into a big jumble, it is the thought that counts. Finally, these straps include a carrying case which make staying organized easy.Overall, these are very nice and I would absolutely buy another set.

A HEAVY-DUTY VEHICLE TIE-DOWN SYSTEM – AND IT COMES IN A GREAT STORAGE BAG. I am a member of the Amazon Vine program. I order new items, and then write honest, unbiased reviews of that product, along with my impressions and experiences. I am not paid for these reviews. This Vehiclex Heavy Duty Axle Tie Down Combo Axle Straps (4PK) with Double J-Hooks and Ratchet – is the real deal. You get four tie down straps of about 9 ½ feet long plus four ratchets to create a powerful tension in the strap. This set is rated at 11,000 pounds, more than enough to secure almost any vehicle to a trailer or a flat-bed truck bed. It is strong, well made, and tough! One thing I really like about this set of tie-down straps is that they come neatly packaged in a heavy nylon zipper back with two strong carry handle straps. This can ride in the truck or tool box until needed, and this also gives you a way to store the whole set of straps between jobs. I recommend it!

These are massive tie downs for strapping down vehicles to tow trailers, HEAVY DUTY! These are not your regular tie down straps, these are tie down straps on steroids! You can strap down a one ton truck with these! And they come with axle wrap around, built with overkill, these will last a lifetime! And they come in a very nice heave duty duffel bag style carry case. Hope you’ve got a strong back, these babies are heavy! These are the kind of straps you’d find on a tow truck. Yes, yes, yes, I’d highly recommend these!

Great Set With A Nice Zippered Bag / Snaps On The Hooks In The Event Of A Loose Strap I didn’t even notice the case when I ordered these. Very nice! Keeps the set together, separate from other sets, and keeps any dirt from the straps from getting inside the car.I love the snap hooks. A responsible person will always stop to check the load after a little driving. Straps getting loose from bumpy roads and suspension movement etc isn’t unusual. With the snaps you know the hooks won’t simply fall off.The ratchets are of good quality.I’ve seen the issue of stitching in another review. I took a good look at it and it is difficult to tell if the light color stitching is the primary stitching or maybe just a secondary. If it is the primary or only stitching I can see where that could be an issue. There are some included Velcro straps for keeping the ratchet straps rolled up nice and neat.If you like stickers you’ll probably like the cute ones that came with this set. This set would also be good for securing a motorcycle as the straps can be wrapped around the forks, frame, etc without metal to metal contact.Great product. Great value.

Seasoned Traveler’s Seal of Approval! As the mother of 12 and grandmother of and ever expanding number, I’ve become an expert in managing roadside hiccups and moving day mayhem. Beginning my life as a Navy brat, and living the life of a frequent family relocator, has taught me the value of a good set of ratchet straps. I learned a long time ago the value of a good set of ratchet straps. The Vehiclex Double J-Hook Ratchet Straps is my newest discovery and, not re use an over-used term, but, it’s an absolute game-changer. The set of four comes conveniently packed in a single bag, eliminating the all-too-familiar scramble for a matching pair. This efficiency alone has won me over. This holiday season tested these straps to their limits, and they passed – at least my family’s flying colors. We secured mattresses (several and up to queen sized) to the top of my little car, and transformed it into a rather efficient tow vehicle and these straps held firm without a single slip or wobble – even at freeway speeds. I admit I can’t attest to how these straps will stand up in all weather situation but as far as the humid, balmy Florida air, they’ve proven to so far do well, not needing to be doused with WD-40 or showing signs of rust, and the tight webbing makes me feel confident that they will stand up well in any weather. For my family, the true test came when one of my daughters decided she needed to move across Florida at a moments notice, and another daughter had a car that decided to refuse to roll another inch due to a transmission failure. We towed her car home and I was much more concerned about my own car’s engine then I was about the straps, which boast a 10,000-pound capacity. Their reliability has been such a relief that I plan to gift a set to each of my children, ensuring their cargo – which often includes my grandchildren – and give myself peace of mind knowing they all have access to these kinds of tools if they ever find themselves in a difficult situation.

Make sure your axles are compatable These work great on anything axle like or different application that require tie-downs. My axles however, are not compatible as they have line that run parallel and must not be crushed. Of course you can use these traditionally but then buy simple ones that don’t flop around and make noise. Overall, these are great and do the job fine, make sure they work for you first.

Axle Tie Down Vehiclex Heavy Duty Combo Axle Straps: Mixed Experience My recent experience with the Axle Tie Down Vehiclex Heavy Duty Combo Axle Straps has been a bit mixed bag. While these straps offer some promising features, there are a few issues that raise concerns about their overall quality.Firstly, let’s talk about the positives. The straps come in a pack of four, which is convenient for securing multiple points of a vehicle during transport. The double J-hooks and ratchet system provide a secure hold, and the 2″ x 9.5ft size is suitable for various trailer configurations. Additionally, the impressive 11,000 lb breaking strength is right where I’d want to be.However, my experience with the stitching on these straps has been less than ideal. Upon closer inspection, I noticed some inconsistencies in the stitching, which made me question the overall durability and reliability of the straps. While I haven’t encountered any major issues yet, the stitching concerns leave me feeling uncertain about their long-term performance.Overall, the Axle Tie Down Vehiclex Heavy Duty Combo Axle Straps have both positive and negative aspects. While they offer some useful features and a high breaking strength, the stitching issues raise doubts about their overall quality and longevity. If you’re considering purchasing these straps, I would recommend closely inspecting the stitching before use to ensure they meet your standards.

Great quality for the money!!!! Great heavy duty straps. Comes with a convenient carry/ storage bag. The safety latch on the hook are great for keeping the hook latched while trying to ratchet the opposite side.
Ryan Eilmas –
Super strong tie downs These will secure a car or large machinery easily. They are heavy duty metal, with strong straps that are plenty long for securing different types of loads. The ratchet is smooth and easy to use.

Get them These are nice, heavy straps. I really like the large handles and the torque they provide. These are for axles but the loop around the load design has plenty of other applications. They also come with a pretty decent storage bag. I am really glad I found these. They are a must have or my tie down arsenal.
