Description

2 Ball3 Ball + hook

Designed for proper trailer leveling
The Vehiclex adjustable trailer hitch for 2″ receiver helps restore a level towing position for better control and stability. The 6″ or 8″ drop is designed for mid-size and full-size trucks with higher receiver height towing utility trailers, campers, boats, and work trailers.

Dual-ball setup for common trailers
The 2″ and 2-5/16″ dual-ball mount supports common trailer coupler sizes without changing mounts. Switch between trailer setups quickly and adjust the drop height for a level tow.

Built for strength and secure locking
Galvanized and powder-coated steel construction, triple reinforcement plates, and internal guide rails help reduce wear, movement, and long-term play under load. Keyed-alike locking pins secure both the receiver connection and ball mount using one key, while included spacers help reduce rattling for a tighter fit.

Built for everyday towing with smart adjustability

The Vehiclex 6 inch or 8 inch adjustable drop hitch is designed for SUVs, crossovers, and light-duty trucks using a standard 2 inch receiver. It helps properly level everyday trailers to improve stability, reduce sway, and support smoother braking during towing.

One adjustable ball hitch for multiple trailers

The tri-ball design includes three common trailer hitch ball sizes: 1-7/8″ — up to 3,500 lbs GTW 2″ — up to 6,000 lbs GTW 2-5/16″ — up to 12,000 lbs GTW Towing hook — up to 12,000 lbs GTW This allows quick switching between different trailers without changing mounts.

Engineered for strength where it matters

Optimized structural geometry with triple reinforcement plates improves rigidity and helps distribute towing loads more evenly. A reinforced internal channel supports long-term durability under real towing conditions.

Simple adjustment, secure locking

The ball mount adjusts easily inside the channel using a single-pin adjustment system, making height changes fast and straightforward. Keyed-alike locking pins secure both the hitch receiver connection and the height adjustment using one key, while rubber spacers help reduce movement and rattling noise.

This Vehiclex 6 inch adjustable drop hitch is a very versatile tow hitch. The size is ideal for SUVs and light trucks with a 2 inch receiver, and it does a great job of leveling trailers for a safer, more stable towing experience. The overall build quality stands out immediately. It is made from solid steel and has a noticeable weight to it, making it extremely durable without being overkill for its intended use.Functionality is where this hitch really shines. The tri ball design makes switching between trailers quick and easy, and the added tow hook is a nice bonus for recovery or general utility use. I found that the adjustable channel works smoothly, and the single pin height adjustment keeps everything simple and efficient. Rubber spacers help reduce rattle, which is a nice feature and makes towing quieter and more comfortable. The fit is excellent and true to spec in a standard 2 inch receiver. Installation is straightforward, and the keyed alike locking pins add convenience along with solid theft protection. Considering the versatility, strength, and included features, this hitch offers incredible value for the money and is a dependable upgrade that will keep your towing needs covered for years to come.

On the bench today, I’ve got the Vehiclex 6″ Adjustable Drop Hitch for 2″ Receiver, Heavy-Duty Tri-Ball & Tow Hook with Keyed-Alike Pin Locks for SUVs & Light-Duty TrucksI have to start off by saying that I appreciate all of the little extras they included with the hitch. The I actually like some of stickers/decals and they seem to be decently well made tho I’ll have to see how they hold up to weather. They’re not the standard vinyl cut decal that I’m used to for vehicle decals so I’m not sure if these are meant for that or not. They also included spacers and o-rings to help reduce rattle from the hitch itself and the locking pins. Each locking pin came with 5 thick, high quality o-rings. I found that leaving 3 on the one that locks the 4-way hitch into this hitch base worked best. The other pin that actually locks the hitch into your receiver would entirely depend on your specific receiver on how many you’d need. The locking hitch pins themselves are nicely done too. I haven’t owned a ton of them but the current 3-4 that I do own don’t have the feature that these do. You unlock the hitch pin and pull the locking end off then you turn it back to the locked position, you can take the key out and don’t need it to put the end back on and lock the pin again after you’ve swapped hitches. You just slide the end on then press the “button” that the key cylinder is actually inside of to lock the pin again. The welds on the ball mount all look very nicely done. The powder coat was fairly uniform all over the outside of the ball mount and is that almost soft touch rough thick kind of powder coat. The negative there tho, as you can see in my pictures, is that the inside of the hitch tube is already rusting so it seems they didn’t get a good application on the inside of it.I saw someone complain that this was “heavy”. Well, duh it’s not going to be light. It’s a quick adjusting 4 way rotating ball mount that has a substantial amount of rise/drop built into it. Any heavy duty hitch isn’t going to be light at all and this one has all of the extra metal required to be able to quick rotate and adjust the 4 way portion of the hitch that has all 3 balls sizes plus a hook on it. So really, if you’re going to be comparing the weight of this to other ball mounts then you’d really be more apples to apples comparing the weight of just the 4 way portion of this one to a stand alone ball mount and then you’d be a lot closer in comparison weight wise. This hitch does weigh a bit over a total of 30lbs as packaged. One negative trade off with this hitch over the fully forged ball mount that I normally keep in my truck with a 2” ball is rated for more than this hitch is but most people aren’t going to be towing anywhere close to 10,000lbs on a 2” ball anyway. I sure don’t but when I first got the truck, I made sure I got a ball mount and ball that was as capable as what it was rated for just in case. The hitch mostly surprised me compared to what I might have been expecting when I ordered it and is actually very nicely done. The little extras are pretty well thought out and good quality while adding some actual value to the total package to me.Overall, while in the $130 price range from the time of my order, I would consider this one an excellent value compared to available competition on Amazon. Because, this mount has some channels for added strength to help hold the 4-way portion in place compared to many adjustable hitches that use two pins and the channel is just smooth and does basically nothing to help increase strength. Leaving the two pins having to do all of the work through torsion and just load on those. From my research, it seems you’ll have a fairly hard time finding a 4 way adjustable that will be more economically priced than that.

Great buy! Worked from east coast to midwest

No issues what so ever. Hauled the biggest hitch pulled U-Haul trailer half filled with essentials to move from the east coast to the Midwest. Literally zero issues. No rattle, perfect fit, and perfect to quickly adjust from the U-Haul to a smaller utility trailer. Worth the buy compared to more expensive versions.

    Heavy, Solid Hitch

This hitch is very nice. It is very heavy and very heavy duty. It is very adjustable and is handy to have 3 size balls easily changed. I use this on my 3 point mounted receiver hitch on my tractor for easily moving trailers around my property. It includes keyed locking pins for security as well. 5 stars for quality and value.

  1. Eizaria

A little bit heavy, but durable

As you see in my pictures, this hitch is really huge and made for towing heavy-duty equipment. In my case, I haul my travel trailer which is about 4500lb and nothing heavy for this hitch. It fits on my 2 inch reciever and fits perfectly, so no gap and doesn’t play in reciever. Also, it comes with 3 size balls, and I mostly use the 2 inch one. Furthermore, it comes with a lock, so it’s anti theft. Highly recommended.

Thrilled to have a quality hitch with options

Universal Fit (SUVs, Crossovers, Light-Duty Trucks): 6″ Adjustable Drop Hitch for 2″ Receiver, Heavy-Duty Tri-Ball & Tow Hook with Keyed-Alike Pin Locks
Squared spacer to reduce risk of rattle from loose connections
Rubber rings for locking pins to reduce locking pins from rattles
Keyed-alike locking pins secure both the hitch receiver connection and height adjustment using one key
    RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
    RATING LEGEND:
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Let’sGo!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very good, I like it
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good, functions as advertised.
    ⭐️⭐️ OK’ish, Uncertainty lingers
    ⭐️ Definite No 4 Me
FIT: this slipped easily into my 1/2 ton truck’s 2 inch receiver. It works well for a small utility that is lower than my larger 8×12 dovetail trailer.
FUNCTIONALITY: very easy to work with. I appreciate the keyed alike height and connection locks plus the ability to raise/lower to match trailer type as load against tires and shocks.
PRICE:  1/3 the cost of other drop downs I’ve seen advertised.
QUALITY: I like it but I wish it were aircraft grade aluminum for weight/moving this around. I was aware, prior to checking out, that this is steel
VALUE:excellent! Resourceful hitch to allow adapting to various trailers and loads. The hook handles 12,000lbs / 6 tons tow force which is more than enough!

    – Single-pin adjustment system with 1-inch increments allows easy height adjustment and secure locking inside the channel

Solid, Secure, & Seriously Heavy! Check Your Drop!

If ‘heavy-duty’ had a personal trainer, this would be its spirit animal! This piece of hardware is seriously substantial, giving you peace of mind – and maybe a little workout lifting it. With two key-matched locking pins, you won’t have to stress about it vanishing from the parking lot. The included rubber o-rings and spacers are a thoughtful touch, really cutting down on annoying noise and rattle. Sure, the pins might be a *smidge* fiddly to insert, but that snug fit is precisely why everything stays quiet. Do keep an eye on your specific drop needs; even at its lowest setting for my factory height H3, it barely meets the mark for a utility trailer. If your truck boasts a 3-inch lift, you might find yourself wishing for a bit more give.

    Great

This is a heavy duty drop hitch for 2″ receiver. Has 3 balls of different sizes and a hook, so very flexible. Comes wiht a lock and 4 rubber spacers so very complete set. Can drop 6 inches which is plenty. Very heavy at 30 pounds so great quality and finish. This is the one to get as the price is very good too. Love it.

One Hitch That Replaces Multiple Setups with Easy Height Adjustment

This is easily the most convenient hitch setup I have owned. It truly replaces multiple individual hitches and eliminates the hassle of swapping hardware depending on what you are towing. With the adjustable tri ball design, everything is always ready in one place.
The height adjustment is quick and straightforward. I really appreciate this because my SUV has adjustable suspension, and with previous hitches I had to use large wrenches and spend time disassembling parts just to fine tune the height. With this setup, adjusting the drop takes seconds instead of effort and tools.
The included locking hitch pin is a nice touch and feels solid. Once installed, the whole assembly feels tight and secure, with noticeably less chatter and movement compared to other adjustable hitches I have used. That alone makes towing quieter and more confidence inspiring.
Having multiple ball sizes available without changing mounts is incredibly practical, especially if you tow different trailers. Everything feels well built and thoughtfully designed for real world use.
Overall, this is a great solution if you want one durable hitch that can handle multiple towing needs without constant adjustments or extra hardware. It saves time, reduces noise, and makes towing much more convenient.

Nice drop down for lifted SUV's

I’ve got a lifted Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a 2-inch receiver, and this 6-inch adjustable drop hitch has been solid for towing around town and out on the ranch. I haul different trailers—like a utility one for hay and equipment, a small stock trailer, and sometimes a flatbed—and the three ball sizes plus the hook mean I don’t have to swap hitches all the time. The single-pin adjustment makes it quick to drop it down and lock in place, and it levels everything out nice. Feels sturdy with no wobble, even on rough roads. The keyed-alike locks are nice for security, one key for everything. Good buy for everyday towing.

    Absolute STUD of a hitch!

Shipping was fast, and the hitch arrived in a very impressive retail-ready box that was clearly designed specifically for the product. The packaging alone deserves credit. Excellent protection, excellent presentation, and honestly better than what many big-name brands bother with. First impressions were strong right out of the gate.
The hitch itself looks great. The powder coat is thick and evenly applied, the welds are clean and confidence inspiring, and the chrome hitch balls are mirror-finish shiny, the kind of shiny that makes you briefly stop and admire your own reflection before remembering you bought this to tow things, not check your hair.
Fitment is solid. Everything slides together smoothly, adjusts easily, and locks into place as designed. In real-world use, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I put it to work towing roughly 9,500 pounds of tools and materials, and the hitch didn’t flinch. No drama, no flex, no questionable noises that make you turn the radio down and stare in the mirror.
Now for the one weak spot. The included locking hitch pins. While it’s nice that they’re included and keyed alike, the design leaves something to be desired. The connection point between the lock body and the pin introduces noticeable movement. The hitch itself is rock solid, but the lock assembly feels wobbly once installed. It’s locked, but it doesn’t feel secure in the way you want something to feel when it’s the only thing standing between your trailer and a bad day.
The kit does include a generous selection of O-rings to help tighten things up, which helps with rattle but does not change the fact that the locking portion of the pin would not take much abuse to defeat. I’ll be replacing the pins with a higher-quality alternative, but that’s more of a refinement than a deal breaker.
Overall, this is a very solid adjustable hitch with excellent build quality, great looks, and real-world towing capability. The hitch itself performs exactly as it should, and the fact that it handled heavy loads without complaint says a lot.
I recommend this hitch without hesitation. Just consider upgrading the locking pins if you want the whole setup to feel as bulletproof as the hitch itself.

The only hitch you'll ever need! Worth every penny

Very universal for any drop needs. It has the three most popular trailer ball sizes as well as a tow hook. I got this to go on a 2023 Tundra with a factory installed 3″ lift on 36″ tires so it sits too high to tow a trailer without a drop hitch. The hitch is built solid and weighs a ton! Once the receiver is installed it is surprising how easy it is to adjust the drop! Works great with any size trailer. So the installation is overall an easy process. Comes with keyed-alike locks. Fits great in the backseat under seat storage. Well worth the price!

Solid - Well Made - Functions Perfectly - Highly Recommended

For my business I now have several VehicleX hitches, etc… I can attest their high degree of material quality and solid craftsmanship. This drop hitch was used this morning and installed on one of our newer trucks, F250. If fits correctly and is simple to set up the various balls, etc…Very good value for the money, functions perfectly and is a heavy weight drop hitch.Highly Recommended

Very nicely made and includes some well thought out extras.

Excellent and Well Built Tow Hitch

    Great product!

I have used all but the hook for towing. Had no issues with being able to rotate it to the right ball for the trailer I was getting ready to pull. The locking pins were no hassle at all, which made it easy.i would definitely recommend this hitch to anyone that has multiple trailers.

Absolute Tank Of A Hitch That Inspires Total Confidence

Wow. This thing is a beast. The Vehiclex 6″ adjustable drop hitch feels premium in every sense of the word. From the moment you pick it up, you can tell it is serious hardware. The solid steel design, the weight, and the overall build quality all scream confidence, which is exactly what you want when you are towing anything heavy. The welding is beautiful and clean, and the powder coat is even and well applied. It looks like something that should cost more than it does. The tri ball setup and tow hook give you a lot of flexibility. It is incredibly easy to switch between them, even though in reality I will probably use just one option 99 percent of the time. Still, having everything built into one hitch is a huge bonus. The included locking pins work, but I might upgrade them down the line. That is a minor quibble, not a deal breaker. The core of the system, the adjustable hitch with tri ball and tow hook, is rock solid.Durability and performance are where this really shines. I have zero concerns when towing heavy loads with this. It feels overbuilt in the best way, and once it is installed, you have that “set it and forget it” level of confidence. No rattling, no sketchy fit, just a solid connection. For the price, I honestly cannot imagine finding anything nicer. You get premium build quality, serious towing capability, flexibility with the tri ball and tow hook, and an overall design that feels very thoughtfully executed. If you tow with an SUV or light duty truck and want a hitch that feels bombproof and versatile, this is a no brainer.

Great quality, heavy-duty, the only hitch you'll ever need.

This is a massive hitch with a lot of options. It is heavy-duty with solid, welded joins, and matte black powder coating. There are multiple adjustment options so you can use it with a variety of heights and trailers. You get the option of 3 different hitch balls (chrome!) and a large metal clip so you’ll be able to haul almost anything. The whole thing is heavy – we call it the beast. My husband used it this past weekend to drag fallen tree limbs with a chain (not included). I did not think a trailer hitch would get compliments, but we’ve had several people ask where he bought it. Included are silicone/rubber rings or spacers to give you a better fit and to reduce clunking or rattles while driving which is a nice touch. Even better, it comes with two keyed locking pins! One thing to be aware of is the added space off the back of your truck. This hitch can affect your parking options if you’re driving around with it sans a towing object. The price is higher than I would expect but this is a ‘tri-ball hitch’ that should last a lifetime.

    Nice adjustable hitch

This is a pretty good set up for the price and an easy installation with the necessary pin locks and rubber gaskets so that it is not chattering when you are driving around. The drop range allows a good deal of adjustment so that you can deal with different types of trailers without issue and the 3 ball and hook mounts make that a simple affair as well.I like the build quality for the price and overall it’s a nice set up.Until we Meet Again-Off The Grid Ken

Well-made and designed 4-way drop hitch for towing and pulling.

I have a 4WD Tundra pickup work truck with a 2-5/16 hitch ball for towing dump trailers, etc. but I’ve long thought about getting a drop hitch to simplify and expand my range of towing options. The Vehiclex 6″ adjustable drop hitch looked like an interesting option so I requested one for review. The hitch arrived in a heavy duty carton–hardly surprising given its 30+ pound weight. Frankly, it’s a beast of a mechanism and includes 1-7/8″, 2″ and 2-5/16″ hitch balls, as well as a heavy duty hook for towing and pulling. Installing the hitch was easy–it fits the stock 2″ receiver on my Tundra. I also liked the steel reinforcement plates and dual guide rails. The hitch looks great, is built to last and offers every bit of additional towing versatility that I wanted.Overall, the Vehiclex 6″ drop hitch is a well made and designed option for towing and pulling. Highly recommended.

    Versatile and Secure Towing Solution

This adjustable drop hitch has been a great addition for my light-duty truck. The 6-inch drop is perfect for leveling my trailers, and I find the ability to switch between the three ball sizes and the tow hook incredibly useful. No more fumbling with multiple mounts! The solid steel construction feels very robust, and the triple reinforcement plates give me confidence when towing. Adjusting the height is simple thanks to the single-pin system, and the keyed-alike locking pins are a smart feature. Knowing that both the receiver connection and height adjustment are secured with the same key adds a welcome layer of security. The rubber spacers do a decent job of minimizing rattle. If you need adaptability and security for your towing needs, this hitch is worth considering.

Great Hitch From a Solid Brand

I’ve had several products from VehicleX and they always have solid and stout products. I am definitely a fan of their stuff. This Adjustable Tow Hitch is a solid hitch. I love that it has everything you might need built in, being a Tri-Ball with a hook. It has very clean welds and the powder coating is textured and covered well. It adjusts easily, although it is not a fast as some other designs out there. What I like about it is that even though it is not as fast as some of the others out there it is more solid in place. Overall, I think this is a great hitch if you can get it on sale.

    Not bad at all

It’s been great i haven’t had any issues with just besides, they need to make like a half spacer for gmc pickups, because well I couldn’t get a full spacer on there. So it does clunk pretty bad, but other than that. It’s pretty good and it comes with free stickers
