The Vehiclex adjustable drop hitch with tri-ball mount is built for a 2 inch receiver and helps restore a level towing position for better control and stability. The 8″ drop is designed for mid-size and full-size trucks with higher receiver height towing utility trailers, campers, boats, and work trailers.

Galvanized and powder-coated steel construction, triple reinforcement plates, and internal guide rails help reduce wear, movement, and long-term play under load. Keyed-alike locking pins secure both the receiver connection and ball mount using one key, while included spacers help reduce rattling for a tighter fit.

As you see in my pictures, this hitch is made with high-quality materials which I blieve is heavy metal. It comes with 3 sizes of balls which I mostly use 2 inch for my travel trailer and it could handle a decent amount of weight. Also, one side has a hook for towing. Moreover, you need to remember, this is a 2.5 inch shank, so most cars have 2 inch reciever and this won’t fit, unless is a bigger truck. In addition, it comes with all locks, so it’s anti theft. Besides, the materials are anti rust and weatherproof.

This adjustable hitch feels strong and well built. I like the tri-ball design because it works with different trailers without needing to swap parts. The 8 inch drop gives good flexibility, and the keyed-alike locks are a nice security feature. It is heavy, but that also makes it feel solid.

This thing is hefty! I was really surprised by how heavy it was when the package was delivered. The max tow capacity isn’t as high as my husband normally uses, but he is still able to get some good use out of this while towing smaller trailers around. I love that it locks so you don’t have to worry about anyone taking it. The different ball options are great as well, making it perfect to keep on his truck incase he needs to make a quick switch. Overall, I am really surprised with the quality for the price of this hitch.

I ordered the Vehiclex Adjustable Trailer Hitch for 2.5″ Receiver, Tri-Ball Mount with Tow Hook, 8″ Drop for my dad, who tows multiple things with different hitch sizes. This tri-ball mount is much better to have compared to multiple different-sized hitch receivers taking up space in the garage. My first impression of this receiver was, “Wow! This is a solid, heavy-duty receiver.” It is heavy at almost 30 pounds. The steel was blemish-free. The drop is easy to adjust as needed for a more balanced load. The keys worked well without issue. Overall, this is an excellent quality, adjustable-height tri-ball receiver that is worth the $159.99 price tag.

This hitch has already been super helpful around the farm. I may have been using it a little unconventional as have mounted it on the drawbar of the tractor, but it has been a true lifesaver as I can move any trailer or piece of equipment with ease with it. I’m glad this came available. It is very heavy duty, and the paint finish is great. Fits well with my 2.5′ sleeve, I don’t have to use the spacers so don’t really know if they are but I would assume they are spot on with thier fitment.

This is a great hitch for bigger trucks and fits perfect on the F250. Make sure you know your receiver size as most modern trucks have a 2″ receiver. It is very heavy duty and weighs a lot all by itself. The delivery guy was surprised just how heavy a relatively small box could be.It comes with three different sized and highly polished balls, as well as a very strong locking hook. We have a variety of different things we tow, from heavy equipment trailers to our wood splitter. Simply insert the hitch for the required ball size, lock it in, and you’re good to go.The adjustable height is a huge plus, as you can adjust for the height of the towed tongue. While we don’t haul our splitter on the road very often, when we do it usually sits at a bad angle – not anymore!This is an excellent brand known for high quality accessories. The instructions are great if you need them, while the included stickers are a fun addition. Overall it’s a great value.

I tow a few different trailers with different coupler sizes and was tired of swapping ball mounts constantly, so this Vehiclex tri-ball setup was exactly what I needed. The build quality is immediately obvious when you pick it up — this thing is heavy, solid steel with a clean powder coat finish and zero casting flaws anywhere. Slid into my 2.5″ receiver perfectly and the included anti-rattle pads actually work, no annoying clunking from the hitch when driving unloaded. The adjustable drop is easy to set and the keyed-alike pin locks are a really smart inclusion — one set of keys for everything and real peace of mind leaving it on the truck in parking lots. The tow hook is a nice bonus for recovery straps too. Rotating between ball sizes takes seconds. Honestly compared to the big-name adjustable hitches that cost twice as much, this checks every single box. Even came with some fun stickers which was a nice touch. Quality piece of equipment, very happy with it.

If you need a versatile hitch that can accommodate to multiple connections, look no farther. This does it all and the hook is very powerful. I needed to be able to drop and lift and this hitch does it all. It has a great change of heights, all the ball sizes and the hook. It’s heavy, I won’t lie, it’s on the heavier side, but it’s made of some quality steel with great welds. I connected my 16k trailer and didn’t think twice going down the road. Its durable and comes with a decent lock pin. It’s simple to install, fits a standard 2.5″ square and works very well. Good value for all the connections and lift/drop it provides.

I originally got this hitch to help improve my ground clearance over my current aluminum multi hitch.This hitch gave me the option for the 1 7/8” ball and tow hook over my existing hitch.It’s a *heavy* sucker. Solid steel and heavy gauge tubing. Overall, it seems to be a decently built hitch. The actual ball mount slides easily. Maybe a bit too easily.One of the misses (in my eyes).This complete hitch assembly as a unit has (what I feel) is an excessive amount of total movement up & down in my receiver. I don’t hear it too much, but I do hear it more than my aluminum hitch or even my previous solid bar . As a qualifier, I tend to load more tongue heavy than balanced. My truck (2002 F-350 CCLBD) and hitch receiver (2,700 lb tongue weight rating) can handle it .Another issue with this hitch kit.The locks. It’s nice that they’re keyed alike, but they’re *EXCESSIVELY* long. Like. 1.5 inch exposed shank long. Stacking all the o-rings they include still doesn’t take up all the space. If they include these same locks on the 2” receiver model (I got the 2.5” model), they’d need to include probably 20-25 o-rings to take up the space. It’s not *that* big of a deal, but the locks definitely feel like an afterthought or an “include whatever we have” type of choice.I feel that the locks should have been sized more appropriately for the size of receiver they’re included with. Depending on the type and dimensions of the receiver, you may not even be able to get safety chains hooked on. This is going to be the reason I knocked one star off. I was one of those guys. I couldn’t use the matching locks because I couldn’t attach the hooks of my 3/8” safety chains.Time will tell how the fit & finish holds up, but it feels like it has a heavy costing to help protect against rust & corrosion.

Very heavy, looks and feels quality. I’m no weld expert but everything appears solid with no gaps or bubblegum. It’s rated to pull a full-size trailer or single car hauler with water weight to spare; the hook is the only thing which would worry me. They state not to use for recovery and leaning the safe side Id agree, it looks like a cheaper cast metal unlike the chrome balls.From the package everything is buttery smooth. The ball portion flips and sizes easy, the locking pins work great and are also very heavy duty. The included locks have two different keys which could be a positive or negative to you.The paint feels like a durable powder coat which should help fend off rust, personally I give my trailer parts a quick spray of wool wax, its messy but almost eliminates rusting (I live in Michigan things rot in place in a year).Very versatile but do note this is for a 2.5-inch hitch which is huge. I thought this would work with my van but unfortunately only have a 2 in. Looks great, I love the badging and support of USA manufacturing. Great product and totally worth the expense, this is a quality hitch. 5/5

I already have a Vehiclex mount for a 2 inch receiver, so when I saw this version for my larger truck with a 2.5 inch receiver, it was an easy buy.These mounts are just so sturdy and so well made, and that matters a lot when you are towing serious weight. This is not the kind of accessory where “good enough” feels acceptable. You want something that inspires confidence, and this absolutely does. And it looks good while doing it.The versatility is one of the biggest strengths. The adjustable height saves a lot of time and hassle if you tow different trailers or loads, and the tri ball setup plus tow hook options make it much more useful than a basic fixed mount. It is secure, easy to adjust, and just makes the whole towing process more convenient.I also get a lot of questions about it, and I always end up recommending the brand because the quality has been so good. My truck stays outside, and this mount has already taken a beating without showing rust. The powder coating is thick, the construction feels overbuilt in the best way, and it honestly seems like it will last forever.If you tow a variety of things and need a heavy duty adjustable mount for a 2.5 inch receiver, this is an easy recommendation. The price is great for something so important that you need to have a lot of faith in, the value is immeasurable.
